Physical Therapist Senior Living Community Full Time position (30-40 hours per week)! Join our team in Mobile, AL at the beautiful Somerby of Mobile community. The community includes Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. At Somerby of Mobile, the mission is to inspire and nurture successful aging and our rehabilitation team will be a part of that goal to keep residents as heaphysical therapist senior living communitylthy and independent as possible.

Somerby of Mobile, under new leadership, has a spacious rehabilitation department that includes a newly renovated therapy gym space with access to fitness equipment, pool, and private treatment rooms. We encourage candidates with aquatics, balance/vestibular, and neuro experience to apply for this new and exciting position.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year geriatric outpatient clinical experience or New Grad with strong geriatric clinical experience
  • Display strong skills in flexibility, time management, and communication
  • Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Customer Service Excellence

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans for patients
  • Document progress toward identified objectives
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload with EMR
  • Create a positive work environment to promote teamwork and communication
  • Conduct patient and family education
